Hello fellow bloggers, TGIF! I wanted to show you my Fairy Garden that I made. I love faeries, have quite a collection of figurines, dolls, pictures & of course, jewelry. First I had to find my items. I found this planter at Hobby Lobby, I don't remember what I paid for it but it was really inexpensive ($10 or less), it was on clearance. I already had the fairy figurine in my collection. I found the sleeping gnome & the polka dot mushroom at Target & the "foliage" at the Dollar Tree. I just filled the planter with potting soil and arranged my items just so....and now I have my very own faerie garden to enjoy :)

Show Your School Spirit
Whether it be your favorite high school or college, show your school pride with a pair of cute earrings at the game! These are made out of random scrabble tiles or specific letters can be used, and then your choice of school or college can be put on the front and sealed with the Triple Thick gloss for that shiney finish. And I made these using the french hooks but they can also be made with the posts as well. My favorite sport by the way is of course, football! Yay! Go Team! :)

Something Wicked This Way Comes...
Something Wicked This Way Comes...this is a Beaded Simplistic Pendant with glass beads to accent the top & bottom. I love the look of old weathered parchment so I tried to create that look for this piece so I cut around the edges before adhering it to the tile. Love it!

The Eye Scrabble Tile Simplistic Pendant
Double double, toil & trouble....Happy Halloween my pretties! Wear this spooktacular "eye" catching pendant & see if your third eye can see your future...ha-ha! Ok, I know I'm a bit corny but I absolutely love Halloween! And it's finally cool! How about this gorgeous weather? Ok, well I'm signing out for now...stay posted....there's more to come!
Keychains
These are some keychains I just finished. They are made using the 1x1 1/2 inch wooden pieces. I paint them first using a coordinating color depending on the picture I put on it, then I place the picture, coat the entire piece with the Triple Thick Gloss Glaze for a shiny finish. These I've added some "beaded dangles" to the bottom but I do have a couple that I made without any dangles...just depends on your preference, and then lastly I add a bow or tie some cute ribbon for that cuteness factor...;) Oh and the little beaded chain too...

Photo Album
Hi ya'll! So, I wanted some way to be able to carry around photos of my jewelry / crafts to show people (if the opportunity ever arose). But the cute photo albums in the stores are a little pricey for me so you know me...I figure why not try & make my own. The 4x6 album I found at Wal-Mart for $3; the fabric I got on sale for a little over $2/yd at JoAnn's & I already had the ribbon. A little cutting here & there; whipped out my trusty glue gun and this was my end result! I love polka dots...cute huh?

Simplistic Beaded Halloween Scrabble Tile Earrings
Hey everybody! I just finished these two pair of Halloween earrings. Next to Christmas, Halloween is my favorite holiday. The (hopefully) cool, crisp air; the decorations & costumes; the candy & goodies ;)...oh and of course, the haunted houses!
On these I used the "post" earrings. Some people prefer them to the french hooks, such as my mom. I made these for her by the way, she likes spiders....yuck!

Beaded Scrabble Tile Rings
I wanted to see how it would look if I added some beads to my scrabble tile rings and here are the results! I don't know about ya'll, but I love these. :) They're something different...unique. Hope ya'll like them!

Dainty Pearl/Swirl Earrings
These are made with a single pearl that I have placed on silver wire and created a swirl design at the top & bottom of the pearl and attached french hooks. Very dainty & cute! ;)
Button Rings
These are some Button Rings I just finished. Yes, I do make other kinds of jewelry besides Scrabble tile jewelry :)... The top one is an olive green button w/ a coral flower & topped with a pearl. The pink & brown one is topped with 3 irredescent pink glass beads and the black & white one has a swirl design & is topped with 3 pearls. Cute & funky ;)

Simplistic Beaded Earrings
Ok, I just think these absolutely adorable! If I do say so myself. ;) These are a couple of beaded scrabble tile "dangle" earrings that I've created. And what I love about them is that they're not heavy. I usually can't wear those dangly type earrings (unless they're the really small ones) because they pull, but these don't...they're lightweight.
Beaded Bracelet
Here is a beaded scrabble tile bracelet. The beads are black glass with a silver accent bead on either side of the tile & right next to either side of the tile itself are what I call "daisy" spacers. Then lastly, I added a silver chain dangle to which I added a tiny black faceted bead. Cute! :)

Simplistic Pendants
These are my "Simplistic" pendants, for those of you that like your jewelry simple. These would be excellent on a 16" chain or choker style necklace or a sheer ribbon. That's my favorite inspirational word, "Believe" and for those of you that know me, you know how I love fairies.
Scrabble Tile Rings
Rings anyone? I make these using silver adjustable bands, and they adjust from the top (under the tile) instead of from the bottom that way they don't pinch.
Collegiate Scrabble Tile Pendants
Everybody ready for football season? Show your team pride with these collegiate pendants! I can also make collegiate earrings, rings, & bracelets. Yay! I love fall! (Plus hopefully it will get cooler!)

Blue Owl Beaded Simplistic Pendant
Scrabble Tile Pendants
Hi! This is my very first blog & blog post...ever. I was asking my daughter Crystal about how I could get people to see my jewelry and she suggested a blog (she has one: The Crafty Crystal). She had created a post on her blog about my Scrabble Tile Jewelry as well. I really enjoy making things and I hope you enjoy them as well. I have discovered that scrabble tiles make really cute jewelry. These are several of my various "pendants" that I have made so far. I have also made rings, bracelets & earrings which I will post some pics of those as well. They are made with scrabble tiles & various beads (I mostly use glass beads but some are wood or plastic) and the picture/graphic is sealed with Triple Thick gloss glaze.
